NICU — Neonatal Intensive Care

As a regional perinatal center, we operate a 6-bed NICU and a 6-bed GCU. Preterm babies of 36 weeks' gestation or less are cared for in the NICU (we generally accept babies born from 28 weeks), and full-term babies who need close observation are also managed there. For congenital heart disease we work closely with the adjacent Fukui Cardiovascular Hospital.

Emergency Care

Emergency pediatric patients are seen 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends and holidays. If your child suddenly becomes ill, please call us first: +81-776-54-5757.
