What is Chibikko House?
Chibikko House is a daycare room inside the hospital where children who are ill — and therefore cannot attend their usual nursery or school — are cared for temporarily while their parents are at work. Nurses and childcare professionals look after the children, with hospital doctors nearby.
- Capacity: up to 21 children per day
- Staffed by nurses and licensed childcare workers
- Located inside Fukui Aiiku Hospital, so medical staff can respond if a child's condition changes
How to Use
Reservations are made through our web reservation system (Japanese only), which accepts same-day bookings from 7:00 to 9:00 in the morning.
